Familiar Faces
Teams continue to make statements across the country, for many EMI customers, its repetition. The weekend returned a landslide of wins across all brands with many familiar faces in the photos. Lucas Wolfe has definitely found comfort in the SCHNEE stack tube car. Whether it is his own car or the ZEMCO ride. Lucas has posted a win two weeks in a row, this time at Port Royal Speedway.
Thomas Kennedy continues to hone his skills in the wake of his father and grandfathers footsteps. This week we saw Thomas out run dad giving EAGLE a 1-2 finish at Cedar Lake Speedway.
The Grinch Racing Team pulled into Park Jefferson Speedway for Friday's NSL event and came home with the hardware. Mark Dobmeier pointed his lucky #13 EAGLE to the front and did some infield landscaping after the checkers flew. The grass will recover...
Husets was a an EMI sweep of both classes. TK and Lunstra Motorsports topped the 410 feature with an EAGLE car while Casey Abbas continued his domination of the 305 class driving his SCHNEE car.
Trevor Grossenbacher once again topped Eagle Raceway in front of many family and friends. The feat came from the 12th starting position and placed him second in the season point standings behind fellow EAGLE driver Doug Lovegrove.
What can you say about Jack. Eight victories in the last eleven starts. Impressive. The latest triumph cam at Butler County Speedway in a co-sanctioned event between the NCRA and NE360's. "I’m very confident and comfortable racing at Butler County,” he said. “We had a great car all night and when it counted the most we took the lead.”
Darryl Ruggles, titled by us the "King of Canandaigua," had the full range of racing experiences over the weekend. First crashing out the first night only to rebound and win the second at Canandaigua Motorsports Park.
Glen Passmore unleashed a brand new EAGLE and parked it in victory lane at Creek County Speedway. Kevin and the GAP crew did a fantastic job preparing the car for Glen's impressive drive.
Prep work is synonymous with success. This is a concept well understood by Donnie Steward and his Iowa based team. Their 305 campaign stretches beyond 34 Raceway where this weekend Lee County Speedway awarded them the trophy for first place finish.
Gregg Bakker continues to dominate Jackson Speedway both in and out of his SCHNEE car. This victory came from the point and was never relinquished. Fellow SCHNEE pilot, Austin Pierce, also posted another win. This one coming at River Cities Speedway.
The Lightning Sprints churned up a storm yet again. The Al Truscinski owned HENCHCRAFT cars cleaned up over the weekend with Brandon Johnson with a second win in as many weeks at Red River Co-Op Speedway. Then Al himself claiming the Watermelon Cup at ALH Speedway.
Rick Hench traveled south to Kansas to compete with a multi state field only to see HENCHCRAFTS sweep the weekend. First by Bobby Layne at Wakeeny Speedway, then Rick at RPM Speedway.
STALLARD winners included Aaron Andruskevitch at Belle Claire Speedway and Greg Bledsoe at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.
Great job by all!
