Golden resigns as General Manager
Park Jefferson Speedway was notified over the weekend of Greg Golden’s decision to step aside as General Manager of Park Jefferson Speedway effective March 1. “We are saddened to see Greg and Tina leave as they brought a lot to Park this past year. They were instrumental in adding the IMCA sanction and bringing back weekly racing to Park Jefferson Speedway. We wish them well as they assume the role of the promoters of Blackbird Bend Speedway as well as their continued role as promoters of Raceway Park. We have already discussed ways to work together to further strengthen racing in the Siouxland,” stated owner Adam Adamson.
Park Jefferson will begin the task of finding a new general manager for the 2016 season immediately. All interested parties, drivers, or business partners can contact Adam at adam@parkjeff.com or by calling the track phone 712-202-5540.
Park Jefferson's banquet is still planned for Saturday and tickets will be available at the door. Ticket will be available at the door for $30. "Greg and I are looking forward to the banquet and congratulating our drivers on a great season and handing out the point fund checks. We also will have the opportunity to answer any questions about the racetrack in 2016 and beyond as we join the IMCA family,” stated Adamson.
Social Hour is 6pm with dinner at 7pm. Awards will follow dinner. Central Catering out of Hawarden, IA will cater the meal. The meal consists of: Broasted Chicken, Baked Ham, Broasted Potatoes, Corn, Cole Slaw, Fruit Fluff, Rolls & Butter, Coffee or Lemonade.
