Dover Seeking Third Straight Victory at Park Jefferson and First Ever in 305 at I-80

Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (May 23, 2017) – Jack Dover is aiming for his third straight win at Park Jefferson International Speedway this Friday when he will compete in a $2,500-to-win event.

Dover was victorious at the track on May 6 and May 13 to give him seven wins in his last 10 races at the bullring in Jefferson, S.D.

“The last couple of times we’ve been there we’ve learned some stuff that works,” he said. “I’m looking forward to it because not only do we normally run well there, but we’ve also learned a lot the last couple of visits.”

Dover will then make his 305ci winged sprint car debut at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb., on Sunday when he will drive for Chris Roseland during the Sprint Series of Nebraska event.

“We have a good car and a good motor,” Dover said. “It doesn’t hurt that I have a lot of laps there in a 360 sprint car.”

Dover, who finished seventh during his lone race this season with Roseland, has earned 11 wins at I-80 Speedway in a 360ci winged sprint car since 2013.

Dover had three races last weekend – Thursday at U.S. 30 Speedway in Columbus, Neb., with the Sprint Series of Nebraska; Friday at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, with the MSTS Series; and Saturday at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb., with the Carpet Land Nebraska 360 Sprints – rained out.
